Jim Olsson

Jim’s work is quirky, unique and colourful. It is basically impossible to look at a Jim Olsson painting and not smile. Each work brings the subjects to life. Jim’s “Banfield Series” depicting Ted and Bertha Banfield and their hermit like existence on Dunk Island in North Queensland have particularly won him national and international acclaim. Residing in southern Queensland, Jim’s imagination is matched only by the intensity of the colours that surround him making each signature work unique, vibrant and rich.
